While my first impression is still one where I think the art is just a bunch of incomplete work, your descriptions of the pieces in this collection help bring them to life in my imagination. I found for topic to be great! I liked that you selected an local artist. I found is interesting that the artist referred to her art as representational rather than realism. The gestures were representational within the artwork.
ReplyDeleteThis is a intresting piece that you have chosen. Terri Wheeler is an artist that doesn't focus on the details because it takes away from the point she is trying to make. This art is a piece that I wouldn't have considered art until this class, great work Cher.
