I enjoyed the postmodern "Lost and Found." I feel less pressure to interpret more modern works.
ReplyDeleteOnce again I must lack the imagination to enjoy this person's artwork. I just do not get it. The slide show seemed to repeat each slide with only the picture being moved from one location on the slide to another. Sorry to say, it got really boring after a couple of slides, but then I don't care much for abstract art of this nature, so my critique means nothing. Wanted to note also that the slide with the full picture of the artwork was very hard to read. Maybe a different color of letters would have helped. Have a great fall semester.
ReplyDeleteThis piece is kind of intresting because it seems to draw me in and I can't look away. It seem to be telling some type of story. Would have liked to seen more work by this artist.

DeleteI agree with you. When I first saw this I looked st it like a "where's waldo" piece almost. If one takes the time to look at it and really investigate it the whole piece comes together nicely. I've seen some of his other work and he has a way of using the brush strokes that really build on each other.

This artist seems very interesting and his work is appealing to the eye. His pieces really forced you to pay attention to his work. The was really great and interesting.
